HOMECOMING UPDATE: There will not be a Harvest Day on the 15th of October.
The Homecoming event that included class participation was cancelled due to weather.
The games scheduled for that day did play, however no class events were held.
There is no room in the schedule to have more games scheduled for another day.
Extra hamburgers left over from Homecoming need to be utilized.
November 5 and November 12th are the two days that the Cross Country meet for championships.
Question: How are we going to keep the ice cream for the “Make your own sundae” event frozen if we keep the hamburgers and rolls in the freezer? We don’t currently have a grill so that we could sell hamburgers at the games. Total cost for Hamburgers and rolls: $124
Motion: to give the hamburgers and hotdogs to the Cross Country team for their two Championship events: Second. All in favor. Maria can take the hamburgers and some of the rolls. Sell nachos at the concession stand to help move the nachos.
POPCORN MACHINE: It has arrived. We received our second choice machine because it was able to arrive on time for the homecoming. Same warranty as the first choice.
SPRING GOLF TOURNAMENT: May 19, 2012. We have requested this date from Franconia. We have not received confirmation as of yet.
CONCESSION STAND STAFFING: Do we need staffing? Maria Malmborg will work Thursday, Friday, and Monday. 1pm on Monday
SCORE BOARD UPDATE: Everything is excellent! It works great
The soccer teams contirburted approximately $1700.00 from their fundraising program and we expect the Ice cream sundae sale to raise approximately $1200. This will leave approximately $900.00 to be donated by the Booster Club to cover the entire cost.
Miguel DelValle will help scoop ice cream, along with Seth Roberts, Fredy Palacio, Matt Smith and Craig Constantinos
CATHEDRAL BOOSTER CLUB: Cathedral Football Booster Club has requested some financial assistance from the Sabis Booster Club to help offset some of their expenses. $100 was charged of each athlete: $2900 was sent to Cathedral. Our parents were mandated to sell advertising and work their gates.
They spend money raised by their Booster Club differently than what we allow our coaches to spend money on. Questions??? Are there other ways in which we can donate funds? One time gesture? Other co-ops: Hockey with Central.
Motion: Can the Booster Club make a donation to the Football Booster Club as a good faith, one time, gesture? $300? $250? $500?
