FINANCIAL REPORT : Presented and read by Deb Morin.
Financial statement reflects $1,000.00 in Capital Improvement: $500 last month, $500 this month.
Vending machine: $215 ($219.85) Ice Cream Sales: $2,225.56 (includes $165.00 additional deposit)
$100 was removed from outside concession stand and brought in for the starting bank of Basketball Season.

WINTER FUNDRAISER: Tom Campagna, Dave Bloniarz, Kyanna Samuels, Joanne Whyland:
The Winter Fundraiser is all set to kick off on December 1, 2011. Due to the success of the Fall Fundraising Calendar, we will have the same style fundraiser for the Winter Season. There will be a coaches meeting, this Thursday, November 17, 2011. The committee will present the fundraiser and its criteria to the coaches at this time. With all of the coaches’ support and enthusiasm, this fundraiser is sure to be as successful as the Fall campaign was. The tremendous participation from the coaches, parents, student athletes and faculty during the Fall Season was a great factor as to the overall success of the fundraiser.
There is an outstanding printing invoice for $437.00 that needs to have a check issued for.
POSTER BOARD IN PRIMARY BUILDING:Lynn Poehler has suggested that we place an advertisement of some sort on the poster board that she has created for the Primary building. Any of the upcoming events that we can create a flyer for would be very welcome for that board
COACHES MEETING: Thursday, November 17, 2011: 3pm. The Fundraising committee will present to the coaches at this time.
VENDING MACHINE UPDATE: $215 for October.
PIZZA SALES:We are looking for people to please help out with the pizza sales. It is a small commitment of time and does not need to be every week. If anyone can donate time from 10:35am – 11:50am on any given Thursday morning, that would be a tremendous help to the Booster Club. Thank you very much to those of you whom have come in and donated your time already. Please contact Tom Campagna if you could volunteer for one day. Tyrone Reid has been regularly selling pizza.
SPRING GOLF TOURNAMENT: SAVE THE DATE! Saturday, May 19, 2012; Franconia
The Hall of Fame Banquet will immediately follow as this was such a fantastic success last year.
A committee will be formed and meet in December or January to start planning for this great event.
GIRLS BASKETBALL WINTER TRIP: The Girls Varsity Basketball team will be traveling to Martha’s Vineyard in February to play. Request for a match in funds up to $500. Motion: To give a match in funds for this trip. Second: All in favor.
Middle School Dance: Friday, November 18, 20116pm – 9pm. Admission: $5.00. Wrestling Team.
FALL ATHLETIC AWARDS CEREMONY: Tuesday, November 22, 2011; 6:30pm Refreshments7pm awards. The athletes whom participated on the Football team will also be recognized and given their Letter of Certificate. Motion: To give check to Kelly Holt in the amount of $250 for refreshments for the ceremony. Second: all in favor
PARENT MEETING FOR WINTER SPORTS:Thursday, December 1, 2011
CONCESSION STAND: All of the drinks have been moved in. A big “thank you” to Danny Medina for his help with this endeavor. Food and candy still has to be moved in. The machines and coffee materials, as well as other supplies need to be moved in from the outside concession stand, as well as a cleaning in the concession stand. Can we get a group together to take care of moving the items this weekend? Tom Campagna, Dave and Angie Rivera, Bob Pasini, Joanne Whyland will meet Saturday morning at the concession stand.
Winter Expectations: Schedules have been drafted. There will be something in the coach’s boxes to have the parents sign up. It would be ideal to have a parent from a JV team work the stand during a Varsity game, and a parent from the Varsity game work the stand during the JV game.
Tournament breakfast/dinner:
December 10, 2011. Martha’s Vineyard is coming in for the weekend to play in a tournament.
They will be staying overnight in the area. Could we possibly give them a dinner on December 10th after the 7pm game? Motion: To provide dinner (possibly pizza) for the teams after the game.

December 17th and 18th: Several teams are coming in for this tournament weekend. Could we possibly host a breakfast/lunch for the teams? Motion: To provide lunch around 12:00- 12:30pm for the teams. Second: All in favor
A committee will be formed at the next Booster Club meeting to plan for these events.
ATHLETE OF THE MONTH: Coaches will nominate an “Athlete of the Month”, based on the following criteria: Attendance, positive attitude, enthusiasm, leadership, respect and hard work. There will be one boy and one girl selected each month and they will not only be recognized on the outside sign, but they will also each receive $25 Visa Card. All of the names of the boys that are nominated will go into a “hat” and drawn in that fashion, giving every nominee the same opportunity, regardless of the level that they participate on.

We will have the coaches from the Fall Season start us off with nominating their athletes, and continue into the Winter Season.Motion: To give Maria Malmborg $250 to purchase 10 Visa Cards. NEW BUSINESS: What is the current status of the pin inventory for the varsity athletes? How many pins do we have left for each sport? About how many more seasons will they receive the same pin?
