WINTER FUNDRAISER: Tom Campagna, Dave Bloniarz, Kyanna Samuels, Joanne Whyland:
The Winter Fundraiser was a success. ($4,500 gross profit)
The fundraiser raised money for the General Booster Club fund, as well as each individual team:
Girls Varsity Basketball: $415.00, Boys Varsity Basketball: $127.00, Girls JV Basket.: $215
Boys JV Basketball: $140, Girls Freshmen Basketball: $232, Boys Freshmen Basketball: $232,
Wrestling: $297, Cheerleading: $503
CONCESSION STAND UPDATE: This season is going pretty smoothly with the staffing of the concession
Stand, with the help of many new faces stepping up to help out. Thank you to all whom volunteer.
Inventory: We would like to continue our efforts to track the inventory use each season.
ATHLETE OF THE MONTH: The athletes of the month were Cristian Rivera, and Ashli Stennett.
The awards were well received by the athletes and their parents. All of the athletes whom were nominated
Will be mentioned on the school website.
YOUTH WRESTLING CLINIC: We have close to 30 wrestlers in K – 6th grade participating in this program.
They meet twice a week for two hours. There will be a tournament on Sat. January 21, 2012
Charles Vanzant and Sean Vanzant run the clinic on Tues. and Thurs. Varsity wrestlers have helped.
Profit will stay with the Varsity Wrestling team. They are looking for volunteers to man the concession stand for that day.
SCHEDULE STAR RENEWAL : The program that we use to keep our sport schedule on line is up for renewal for January 15, 2011
Motion is to approve up to $300 for program or an equivalent program. Second: All in Favor.
GOLF CART: Motion: Tom Campagna will investigate the options that are available for us to purchase a golf cart.
Second: All in Favor
Storage of the golf cart has already been arranged.
There is a variety available between $999 - $2500.
The benefits of owning a golf cart are, but not limited to: Trainer transportation between games on the fields, transporting injured athletes off the field, grounds maintenance, lining the softball and baseball fields, special events and more. We will confirm that the school will assume the cost of maintaioning the vehicle.
HALL OF FAME COMMITTEE: The Hall of Fame Committee will meet some time in January for a preliminary meeting. The committee consists of Karen Reuter, Tom Campagna, the President of the Booster Club, 3 coaches, and two members of the Booster Club whom are assigned by the Athletic Director. The two Booster Club members for this year are: Joanne Whyland and Debra Morin. 2007’ graduates have eligibility (up to 4). There will be two recipients of the Heart Award established, as well. Motion: Rather that have their names put on a very small plate and placed on a plaque, Each year the (2) Heart Award recipients will be placed on a plaque to be hung on the wall opposite the Hall of Fame athletes. VENDING MACHINE UPDATE: ($200) The “Fresh and Healthy” vending machines made the front page of the newspaper, today. The vending machine has continued to stay popular.
The Booster Club receives a check each month, and the machine stays well stocked with tasty, healthy snacks. The most recent check was for $198.00.
GOLF OUTING: Saturday, May 19, 2012 at Franconia Golf Course.

NEW BUSINESS:
Girls Basketball Team Fundraiser Tournament: Saturday, January 28, 2012 12pm – 7pm
There will be about 80 players and their families.
Tyrone Reid is heading up this event, and would like to know if the concession stand would open for the day.
Joanne Whyland volunteered to work from 11am – 3pm. It would be ideal to have several people working together during each time slot, as well as volunteers to sign up from 3pm and after. We will check with people to see if they can volunteer for a little while that day.
